AFX Cars / Carlsbad Raceway Union Night

We were honored to once again have the AFX Cars and a Carlsbad reunion join us at Cruisin’ Grand on June 24th. The Cruisin’ Grand Staff would like to personally thank the Nostalgic AFX Club including Marv Riser and John Richman for bringing their racecars out during AFX Night and Carlsbad Reunion! This night is typically one of the most popular on Grand and this year was no exception. Who can resist running over as the owners fire up their race cars for the crowd? If you’d like to see them again, come out to Barona Raceway Saturday 07/16/2011
Hot Rods & Custom Stuff Customer and Employee Appreciation Night
On July 8thand in observance of National Collector Car Appreciation Day one of our most valued long-term supporters, Hot Rods & Custom Stuff hosted their customers and employees for a dinner on North Broadway. In addition to being the weekly sponsor, Randy Clark was able to assemble quite a crowd of impressive vintage creations for everyone to enjoy.
For those of you that don’t know Randy, here is a little background. Originally he was into Harley's back in the 60's. Over time his bike interests evolved into hot rods, and by 1980 he was building cars out of his home garage. By 1989, he was building cars for so many other people that he outgrew the garage and opened a new facility. He called it Hot Rods & Custom Stuff, and he hasn't had an empty bay since. From there the rest of history and we are pleased that many of Randy’s creations make it to Grand for all to see.
Thanks you Randy Clark for being a huge supporter of Cruisin’ Grand !

Kalmia is now closed every Friday
Please remember and tell your friends that we are closing Kalmia Street every week in addition to Broadway for those that want a great parking spot for the night. With this additional closure, we have plenty of room for cars that can’t be on the street so early.
Later this month please join us for:
July 15 Heartbeat Classic Chevy's Club
July 22th Pantera & Shelby Club's
July 29th Poway Cruisers
August 5th So. Cal T's
